Pink Day Fundraiser
Klomp’s Nursery and Garden Center recently hosted a Pink Day Fundraiser as part of the Invincibelle Spirit Campaign to raise $1 million for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Halfway between Stratford and St. Marys, the event was a fun-filled day with staff and visitors dressing up in pink clothing and costumes, while enjoying live music, food, and participating in contests and raffles to win pink prizes! For Marty Klomp of Klomp's Nursery, hosting the event was a great opportunity to have fun and raise money for a good cause. For every Invincibelle Spirit "pink" hydrangea sold, $1 will be donated to the BCRF. Like the women who have survived breast cancer, this new hydrangea is resilient and can withstand extreme conditions. It blooms from mid-summer to fall, even after harsh winters, making it a wonderful pink addition for your garden. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is an organization dedicated to preventing breast cancer and finding a cure in our lifetime by funding clinical and translational research worldwide.
